As a Specialist Interventional Radiologist, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions using advanced imaging technology and minimally invasive procedures.Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound to diagnose medical conditions accurately.
Plan and perform a variety of minimally invasive interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainages, and stent placements.
Expertise in vascular as well as non-vascular procedures including percutaneous liver, renal and lung tumour ablation, biopsy, PTBD and stenting 4. Collaborate closely with referring physicians to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout all procedures, providing clear explanations and answering any questions or concerns.
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or complications during and after procedures, taking prompt action as needed.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and contribute expertise to patient management.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in interventional radiology techniques, equipment, and research, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.
Provide mentorship and guidance to residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documentation, and billing information in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of residency training in diagnostic radiology.
Board certification or eligibility in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology.
Fellowship/DM/CCT training in Interventional Radiology from an accredited program with minimum 3 years Residency Training.
Current state medical license and eligibility for medical staff privileges at affiliated hospitals or healthcare facilities.
Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging studies and performing interventional procedures with precision and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex medical information to patients and their families.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound clinical judgments in high-pressure situations.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education in the field of interventional radiology.
