Project Management:
Work with suppliers to produce high precision and quality designed components within the schedule of the project.
Innovation and Technology Advancement:
Revise designs based on the latest technology in manufacturing and material science. Optimization of designed parts for manufacturability using innovative approaches to design
Collaboration and Communication:
Mentor and coach lower level engineers in related disciplines.
Compliance and Documentation:
Establish test specifications and procedures to ensure that all design requirements are met
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master's degree is preferred in the field of turbomachinery design, small or micro turbine testing or other gas turbine/thermal power applications. A minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience is necessary in a gas turbine engine test environment. Experience operating test equipment in a jet engine test cell, with a focus on data acquisition systems for gas turbines. Proven technical competence, including managing multidisciplinary requirements specifications within the gas turbine engine. Strong technical knowledge of air power systems, including aircraft integration, propulsion, avionics, and mission systems. Familiarity with military and defense industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Ability to contribute to and write technical proposals development. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to precision-guided munition air power systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
