1. JOB PURPOSE:Specializes in material selection to mitigate corrosion issues during well life cycle with cost effective manner. Ensures the implementation of corrosion control, monitoring systems and processes that are been well established to maintain a complete well life cycle; hence, and overall production sustainability with high standards of safety and integrity for upstream oil and gas production.2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Job Specific Accountabilities
Conducts high-level technical and commercial feasibility studies related to material selection focused on delivering ADNOC Offshore business objectives.
Supports new and existing Upstream Oil and gas projects with assistance in the specification, selection, qualification, testing, and failure analysis of processing, and structural materials. Technical review and authorization in Management of Charge (MOC) activities, enuring that systems are riot compromised by physical, procedural, or organizational changes.
Provides technical advice on material performance, specification, and selection consistent with cost optimization and fit- for - purpose strategies. Responsible for any material selection exercise within ADNOC Offshore assets to ensure material suitability.
Develops and Reviews material selection study related to detailed well design and specifications to select the best combination of materials for ADNOC Offshore projects in coordination with Drilling, Engineering, Integrity, and Operation Teams. Reviews the corrosion log I corrosion monitoring I inhibition I Corrosion Protection (CP) results to ensure that they accurately reflect the health of the wells.
Establishes robust inspection processes, procedures, plans and defines the inspection scopes, techniques, intervals that are to be incorporated in the yearly Maintenance Plan. Assures that equipment inspection.
and testing is carried out in a timely manner and in line with expected quality standards and outputs are accurately recorded in the company's database systems.
Develops technical recommendations and reports to the management and set of corrosion related KPls to be applied across the business. Also, develop reports to the management showing the status of work progress, budget, technologies ...etc.
Supervision
Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Sections work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.

Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices
Reports
Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management
3. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Internal
Daily contact with TC peers, Drilling & discipline Manager.
Frequent contact with Drilling, Assets\' peers, and Technical/Management teams within other divisions in ADNOC Offshore.
Occasional exchanges with ADNOC Offshore senior management through committees, presentations, etc.
External
Occasional contact with ADNOC upstream, industry Shareholders and OPCOs to share industry lead practices and information.
Occasional contact with contractors and service providers to maintain business relationships with key external technology providers.
Occasional contact with ADNOC Technical Institutes/ local Universities for any technical support.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Minimum QualificationBachelors degree in chemical / \'Mechanical or Materials\'. Advanced degree is preferable.Minimum Experience & Knowledge & SkillsProfessional Certifications
National Alliance Corrosion Engineer (NACE) certification (preferable).
