Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:
Lead and deliver overall technical assurance and shared services assurance in all asset areas of surface and subsurface, shared services; develop compliance programs & strategy, identify scope, facilitate and or conduct technical and shared services assurance verifications, analyse the outcomes of verifications and generate key insights, prepare presentations and align stakeholders on the outcome and validate the proposed action plan and issue final corporate assurance review / audit reports including recommendations and action plan.
As a designated shared services provider for Al Dhafra Petroleum and Al Yasat Petroleum, all accountabilities, roles and responsibilities of the position shall be applicable to both companies.JOB SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Manage corporate technical assurance and shared services assurance programs - establish Corporate Assurance Review (CAR) process, identify internal SMEs, arrange external experts and facilitate Corporate Assurance Review program.
  • Assure compliance with ADNOCs Integrated Management System and Corporate Assurance Guideline.
  • Facilitate and report audits, investigations, internal verifications, process safety assessments and peer reviews.
  • Coordinate Internal Audits for Assets function areas and perform surveillance of required actions.
  • Interface with ERM to check and share findings to ensure coordinated improvement / corrective action plan.
  • Lead technical compliance assurance assessments in Assets surface and subsurface areas, including operations, maintenance / facility integrity / reliability, well integrity, exploration and reservoir management, projects & engineering, drilling & workovers, flow assurance, logistics, warehouse & inventory of spare parts and materials and chemicals.
  • Deep dive and identify all key risk areas of exploration, reservoir management, operations, maintenance, projects and drilling & workover.
  • Develop and conduct annual compliance assurance program, identify non-conformities with reference to Company standards, international codes and industry best practices.
  • Perform Compliance Trend Analysis, generate key insights, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive verification reports and presentations.
  • Follow-up and conduct validation of the actions taken by sites.
Identify business risks, consequences and provide best recommendations for sound technical assurance.
  • Support project compliance assurance by participating as SME at various stages of the projects.
  • Monitor and report technical compliance assurance status of each Business Unit.
  • Conduct site visits to contractors construction yards for evaluating contractors performance and ensure contractors are adhering and complying with the company specifications during projects conceptual design, engineering FEED, procurement, and construction and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure that Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) and Corrosion and Inspection Management System (CIMS) procedures are implemented as necessary.
  • Submission of periodic reports related to pipeline assurance activities in a timely and accurate manner. The report shall include key activities and the compliance findings with recommended correcting actions.
  • Summarize compliance issues and communicate any matter deemed as a potential risk or weakness to Asset focal points and Management.
  • Maintain awareness of compliance issues related to all areas of responsibility across the organization and participate in investigation assignments as and when required while maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Ensure integrity standards, specifications and manuals are developed and maintained up to date. Keep abreast with latest integrity compliance standards, programs, and methodologies and recommend actions where applicable.
  • Conduct assurance audits and spot verifications related to chemicals quality assurance, analyse findings, prepare reports, maintain records and ensure timely actions.
  • Review systems and procedures in coordination with Operations, Integrity Management, Drilling Technical Support and Technical Centers as well as line stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, potential weaknesses and risks related to chemicals. Provide recommendation to prevent future failure occurrences and to improve performance of chemicals.
  • Conduct laboratory audits, track audit action items and ensure that audit recommendations have been completed and closed out in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Conduct verifications on third party inspection and related matters; ensure third party inspection are conducted appropriately.
  • Participate in investigations on observed failures/ field complaints/ non-conformances. Collect and analyse data to determine the cause of failures.
  • Plan and develop quality assurance verification program for materials and projects. Prepare internal and external assurance review objectives/ annual plan to align with Company Business Objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or science discipline, combined with a masters degree in quality management or business Administration.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
  • 15 Years experience in the oil & gas sector with significant exposure in managing and optimizing core operational processes and operations.
  • 5 Years experience in leadership role
  • Strong planning, critical thinking and analytical skills
