Job Description

:
  • Oracle Fusion Applications: Utilize Oracle financial systems for accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, VAT and Corporate Tax. Having Oracle Fusion Implementation project life cycle experience would be preferred.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations to support audit processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures, and stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration & Stakeholders Management: Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, operations, and accounting to gather financial information, provide insights and support business initiatives.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue and expense analysis, budget variance analysis, financial modelling, and forecasting.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor and evaluate financial performance against budgeted targets, highlighting areas of concern and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Month End Closure and Reconciliations: Work closely with finance shared services team members for Subledger to Ledger Reconciliations. Responsible for improving month end closures in Oracle Fusion.
  • Financial Models & IFRS: Develop and maintain financial models to assess business scenarios, analyze profitability and support strategic decision-making, should have sound knowledge of IFRS 9 and 16.

Qualifications:Education and Qualifications.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CMA)
  • Should have experience in Finance Shared Services working model.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial analysis techniques and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques using spreadsheets.
  • Ability to think critically and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of financial principles, budgeting processes and financial statement analysis.
