Title: Spare Parts Assistant : We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Spare Parts Assistant to join our team. As a Spare Parts Assistant, you will support the Spare Parts Advisor in managing inventory, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of automotive parts and systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist service team in identifying and locating the spare parts they need, using parts catalogs and databases. 2. Process parts orders, including checking inventory, preparing invoices, and coordinating with suppliers for special orders. 3. Receive, unpack, and organize incoming parts shipments, ensuring accurate inventory management and proper storage. 4. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies to the Spare Parts Advisor. 5. Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely availability and delivery of parts for repair and maintenance jobs. 6. Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 7. Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring all parts are properly labeled and stored. Requirements: 1. Previous experience in a parts department, warehouse, or similar role is preferred but not required. 2. Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise. 3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. 4. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. 5. Proficiency in using computer systems and inventory management software. 6. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and provide support as needed. 7. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in automotive technology is a plus.
