Job Description

A Luxury Resort located on the East Coast of United Arab Emirates is currently looking for an experienced and exceptional Spa Manager. The role is responsible to manage the day-to-day operations of a spa facility, ensuring the smooth running of all spa services and maintaining a high-quality level of guest satisfaction. To work closely with the Resort Manager in establishing and maintaining marketing objectives, operating criteria, programming, budgeting, VIP guest visits, colleague relations and training programs. Main Responsibilities: Provide a friendly introduction to the hotel, and offer assistance. Contribute to the overall guest experience and help drive revenue and profitability for the hotel spa. Oversee the operations of the hotel spa, including scheduling appointments, managing treatment rooms, and ensuring smooth service delivery. Coordinate with spa staff to maintain high service standards, addressing any operational issues, and optimizing efficiency. Hire, train, and supervise spa staff members. Responsible for creating a positive work environment, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and implementing training programs. Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction throughout the spa experience. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote the hotel spa. Work closely with other hotel departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, and F&B, to ensure seamless integration of spa services within the hotel operations. Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability. Budgeting, cost control, analyzing financial data, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs. Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of the spa facility, treatment rooms, and equipment. Identify training needs for spa staff and implementing appropriate training programs to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and service delivery. Ensure the quality and consistency of spa treatments and services by conducting regular evaluations, implementing standard operating procedures, and monitoring customer feedback. Ensure compliance with local regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards for the spa facility. Minimum Qualification / Experience / Skills Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred. Degree in spa management, wellness, specialized programs or certifications in spa management can also be beneficial. Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in spa management or a related role, is highly valuable. A strong understanding of spa and wellness practices, treatments, and industry trends is essential. Strong leadership and management skills are crucial. A solid understanding of business principles. Excellent customer service skills are vital. Familiarity with health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and sanitation standards applicable to spas is important.
