We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. The Head Chef will be responsible for menu development, kitchen operations, food quality, cost control, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Menu Development & Food Preparation
. Create and develop innovative and seasonal menus.
. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
. Maintain an excellent understanding of ingredients, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
2. Kitchen Operations & Management
. Oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and smooth service.
. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
. Ensure all food items are prepared on time and according to restaurant standards.
3. Cost Control & Inventory Management
. Manage food costs, portion control, and waste reduction.
. Oversee inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper stock levels.
. Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at the best prices.
4. Health, Safety & Hygiene Compliance
. Ensure the kitchen meets all food safety and hygiene regulations.
. Implement and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules and HACCP standards.
. Conduct regular health and safety training for kitchen staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
