Job Description
:We are looking for a dedicated and professional Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in our state-of-the-art medical facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sonography, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely diagnostic information.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound data to provide accurate and comprehensive diagnostic information.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to discuss findings and determine the best course of action.
- Maintain patient records and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in the field.
- Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid DHA/HAAD/MOH license to practice as a Sonographer in Abu Dhabi.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sonographer.
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering high standards of patient care.
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- Experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Bilingual skills (Arabic and English).
