Sommeliers | Dubai | New Opening Ultra Luxury HotelWe are looking for an experienced SOMMELIERS to join the team of new opening, ultra-luxury hotel in Dubai.Our client is one of the most seek employers in the UAE in the hospitality industry. Their hotels are an architecture pieces of art with Food and Beverage Departments often featured in Michelin and Gault et Millau food guides.IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The opening is planned for October 2024. Selected candidates will be required to join before October. Interviews process is immediate with job offers given if selected.Key Responsibilities:

• Craft an extensive wine list featuring rare and exquisite selections that complement culinary offerings
• Provide personalized wine recommendations and pairings to guests, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience
• Maintain impeccable standards of wine storage and presentation
• Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for guests and staff
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to create harmonious food and wine pairings
• Uphold Michelin rating standards in all aspects of wine service and presentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a sommelier in high-end dining establishments or luxury hotels
• Deep knowledge of international wines, regions, and varietals
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively within a team
• Certification from reputable sommelier programs is highly desirable
• Hospitality Qualification
• Clear criminal record
• Clear medical bill
• Passport valid at least 2 more years

Salary Package:

• Basic AED 10000 (60% basic, 40% accommodation and transport)
• Service charge approx. AED 1800
