About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable

Female Sommelier

to join our prestigious fine dining establishment in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wines, excellent guest engagement skills, and the ability to curate exceptional wine pairings that elevate the dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Curate and manage the restaurant's wine selection, ensuring an exceptional and diverse offering. Provide expert recommendations to guests, enhancing their dining experience with perfect wine pairings. Conduct wine tastings and staff training sessions to enhance team knowledge and service standards. Maintain inventory, oversee wine storage, and ensure proper stock rotation. Work closely with the culinary team to create harmonious food and wine pairings. Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new selections that align with the restaurant's concept. Uphold the highest standards of service, ensuring an elegant and memorable experience for guests.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Sommelier

in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting.

Certification in wine studies

(WSET, CMS, or equivalent) is highly preferred.

Fluent in English

; additional languages are an advantage. Proficiency in

Italian

or

French

is advantageous Strong knowledge of international wines, vintages, and food pairings. Exceptional guest engagement and communication skills. Ability to train and educate the team on wine selections and pairings.

European or easy mobility passport preferred

to facilitate travel for training and sourcing.
