What You Will Be Doing Specialize in OSS Applications: As a technical sales engineer, you will focus on the application of Operational Support Systems in the telecommunications industry, with a specialization in fiber networks. Craft Presentations and Demos: Develop and deliver engaging presentations and product demos tailored to customers, showcasing our Inventory and Network Infrastructure solutions. Build Customer Relationships: Establish and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with customers, becoming their go-to technical advisor. Collaborate with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to provide technical assistance and support during customer engagements. Lead Technical Discussions: Conduct technical discussions, address inquiries, and prepare detailed responses to RFx/tender documents. Develop Technical Proposals: Create customized technical proposals that align with the specific needs of Tier 1 to Tier 5 telecommunication environments. Liaison with Customers: Act as the primary liaison between Enghouse Networks and customers, advocating for their needs in product development. Inform Sales Team: Keep the sales team updated on the latest advancements and enhancements in our OSS portfolio. Post-Sale Leadership: Provide leadership during the post-sale handover process, ensuring a seamless transition to the professional services team. Contribute to Value Propositions: Assist in the creation and maintenance of compelling product value propositions and internal knowledge resources. What You Bring:
Bachelors degree in a related technical field, preferably with a focus on telecommunications.
3-5 years of experience in fiber telecommunication networks, including planning across diverse deployment models.
Proficiency (1-3 years) in ESRI GIS platform and OSS solutions, such as network management and service assurance.
Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in presales, technical sales, or sales engineering within the telecommunications sector.
Willingness to travel (35%+) within the EMEA and APAC regions, with a flexible hybrid work environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with exceptional organization and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, leveraging Enghouse product documentation and demo tools for continuous learning and self-improvement.
Bonus if you have:
Experience with network inventory and resource management, particularly in optical networks.
Familiarity with Session Border Controllers, Media Gateways, and Mobile Messaging architectures.
Bilingual proficiency, especially in French or Spanish, would be advantageous.
