Job Requisition ID #25WD85378Position OverviewBased in Dubai, Autodesk is looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Engineer as a key member of the sales team to act as a technical subject matter expert with a priority focus split across ME and the remainder of the EMEA region. This role will be responsible for leading technical aspects of Autodesk Water solution engagements and supporting sales representatives in directly engaging with clients. The role utilises in-depth industry, practitioner and software knowledge to uncover customer business challenges and suggest improvements, showcasing solution workflow demonstrations and technical presentations to position the value of Autodesk water.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with Autodesk Water Product Specialist Sales Executives and other members of the Autodesk and, or Autodesk Solution Provider Sales team to validate customer success plans and help execute on strategy/tactics for closing business and driving expansionDevelops the required level of knowledge of customers' business processes, workflows, and technical requirements to build "trusted advisor" relationships with customersMaintains a comprehensive knowledge of the business processes, technology trends, and workflows, within their domain of expertise, to provide insight and guidance required to position the value of current and new Autodesk solutionsDemonstrates thought leadership at the customer to differentiate Autodesk and gain acceptance that Autodesk is a long-term solution providerProvides leadership and guidance in the formulation of requirements definitions, scope documents, user needs studies, process assessments and project assessments for sales opportunities to help make business cases inclusive of ROI for the water solution portfolioHappy to lead or facilitate discovery workshops of varying sizes to help uncover business issues/drivers/initiatives and use this information to help connect with Autodesk Water solutions to deliver business outcome valueLeverages Autodesk Water software, and services together with other resources to develop innovative solutions that satisfy technical, fiscal and schedule constraints within the customers businessCollaborate with sales teams as a technical subject matter expert to optimise pipeline and salesResponsible for aligning with key customer stakeholders to secure business and technical closure of the proposed solutionManages technical evaluations, defines solution architecture, facilitates product demonstrations, "pilot" projects, 3rd party engagements etc.Provides technical validation and assesses feasibility, correctness and completeness of proposed solutions; applies best practices in solving business problemsAssesses and directs customers regarding strategic product issues involving license deployment, licensing structures and license management to maximize customer satisfaction and product revenueDevelops and maintains trusted working relationships with the sales team and adjacent business resources (sales management, consulting, business development, global technical sales, marketing)Oversees and guides these resources within outlined account objectives to ensure customer satisfaction and business closure, coordinate global strategy and account coverage, and support broader decision making whilst enhancing the customer experience with Autodesk.Shares best practices, competitive information, innovation, and thought leadership within the sales organization, product divisions, and technical sales organization locally and globallyProvides answers and shares knowledge on technical product and integration informationAssist with the technical aspect of proposal generation, RFP responsesMinimum QualificationsBusiness fluency in English and ArabicEngineering degree and/or equivalent certificationPractical experience in the use of InfoWorks ICM,Experience in supporting and/or collaborating with sales teamsExcellent communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with all levels of organizationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Salesforce.com is valuableWider experience of the Autodesk Water Portfolio is desirable#LI-MM2Learn MoreAbout Autodesk
