In addition to providing Pre Sales and Solution Design support for Datacentre to Sales and Services and stays abreast of trends in the Datacentre marketplace to ensure the solutions competitive position.Job Responsibilities:Manage the Datacentre Portfolio:
Maintain the existing Datacentre solution portfolio
Propose new solution portfolio based on market and innovation trends
Provide Datacentre pre sales solution support internally.
Support the Sales and Services departments with information about solutions.
Provide support to the internally developed solutions.
Maintain relationships with the customers to ensure an up to date knowledge of their solution needs.
Manage the Go to Market (GTM) of new solutions and products.
Provide Pre Sales and Solution Design Support:
Provide presales support Sales and Customers.
Support sales with accurate solution information, configurations and presentations.
Support with the scope of demos and proof of concepts and follow up on the progress.
Provide solution, technical and security related support to sales and services
Meeting the customer decision makers and technical decision makers
Presenting Datacentre Portfolio Solutions and Capabilities
Understanding the Clients requirements & recommend the best solutions.
Enable internal training sessions for sales and services team
Provide solution knowledge, presentations and participate in customer meetings whenever required as well as recommending solution specifications for specific customer requirements
Approve and guide the team designs
Engage in the complex and advanced designs.
Conduct Customers Consultancy and advisory.
Minimise and reduce solution design errors and omissions
Manage Partnerships with Vendors:
Maintaining the relationship with the principals on technical issues and pricelists
Provide presales support Sales and Customers with Vendors.
Engagement with Vendors on all aspects of the partnerships
Manage Vendor Certifications
Manage Vendor Audit and Compliance
Recommending trainings for sales and technical teams from Vendors
Build a partner business plan with the vendor within scope
Maintain & grow the level of partnership with the vendor
Manage Vendor Revenues and Rebates
Assist sales team to develop the relationship with Vendor sales team - Account Mapping
Conduct presentations for the new technologies
Work with the vendor to conduct a training and enablement to sales team
Provide Pre Sales and Solution Design Support to Services:
Interact with the service department to ensure alignment on Solutions.
Support Implementation team technically and during customer meetings and support the full implementation process from a technical angle till the solution goes to mainstream support.
Support the logistics department on ordering related issues.
General:
Ensure quality of the Pre Sales department
Protect company interest at all times.
Strive for continuous improvement in the department processes so that these align with the changing business needs of the company.
Submit for new ideas and creativity to the department
