Category Head- Solar Energy Products

Job Purpose

To enable the company to become the preferred contractor in Solar Energy EPC (Energy Performance Contracting) domain. Responsible for sales across the SME, corporate, commercial and industrial PV market. Should have proven track record in the SOLAR SYSTEMS/GREEN ENERGY industrial products. The ideal candidate should have relevant field experience in selling solar products i.e. solar panel, batteries, inverters, solar pumps and other renewable energy solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives in the solar/green energy sector.

Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, including residential, commercial, and industrial clients

Provide technical, expert advice and guidance to customers on solar energy solutions, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and energy management systems.

Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to promote company products and services and expand the customer base.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and projects.

Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a reputed institution

Relevant certification in Solar Energy would be an added advantage (e.g. from DEWA and Dubai Municipality approved and qualified Solar Engineer under the Shams Dubai Solar Net-Metering scheme).

Experience

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in sales of Solar PV rooftop systems & solutions
• Proven experience in business development in the field of solar performance contracting
• Familiar with utility requirement for grid connected, off-grid & hybrid solar systems
• Results-driven with an evident passion for renewable energy sales
