1. Conducting soil sample collection from various sites according to project requirements.
2. Performing field tests such as sieve analysis, moisture content, compaction tests, and soil classification tests.
3. Conducting laboratory tests on soil samples to determine their physical and chemical properties, including grain size distribution, Atterberg limits, and permeability.
4. Analyzing and interpreting test results to provide recommendations for engineering projects, such as foundation design, slope stability assessment, and soil improvement techniques.
5. Documenting and maintaining accurate records of test procedures, results, and observations.
6. Collaborating with engineers, geologists, and other professionals to integrate soil data into project designs and plans.
7. Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and presentations summarizing soil investigation findings and recommendations.
8. Ensuring compliance with relevant safety protocols and regulations during fieldwork and laboratory testing.
9. Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to stay updated on advances in soil investigation techniques and methodologies.
10. Contributing to quality assurance and quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
