Role Overview

We're looking for a

QA Engineer

who will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of the

baguette

platform. You will

design, execute, and automate test cases

, ensuring seamless experiences for users. Collaborating with

developers, product managers, and UX designers

, you will help identify defects, create test strategies, and improve testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Automation

Develop, execute, and maintain

manual and automated test cases

for different modules. Perform

functional, regression, performance, security, and exploratory testing

. Build and enhance

automated test scripts

using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Conduct

API testing

with Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

Bug Reporting & Quality Assurance

Identify, document, and track bugs using

JIRA or similar tracking systems

. Work closely with developers to

reproduce, diagnose, and resolve defects

. Ensure all features comply with

best practices, security protocols, and industry standards

. Provide test coverage reports and

detailed QA documentation

.

Continuous Improvement & DevOps Integration

Work closely with the

DevOps team

to integrate automated testing into the

CI/CD pipeline

. Implement

shift-left testing strategies

to embed quality early in development. Participate in

code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups

.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of experience

in software testing and quality assurance.

Hands-on experience with test automation tools

(Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).

Strong knowledge of scripting languages

(Python, JavaScript, or Bash).

Deep understanding of API testing

using Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

Experience in performance and security testing

is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud-based testing and DevOps pipelines

(AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
