Job Description

Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Working closely with our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design:

Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.

Develop test cases and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.

Test Execution:

Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools.

Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.

Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and issues.

Defect Management:

Document and track defects using issue tracking systems (JIRA).

Work closely with developers to investigate, reproduce, and resolve reported issues.

Verify bug fixes and ensure that resolved issues meet acceptance criteria.

Quality Assurance Processes:

Continuously improve and optimize QA processes and procedures.

Implement best practices for software quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality-related issues.

Reporting and Documentation:

Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate QA status to stakeholders.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and QA processes.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience in designing and executing test cases and test scripts.

Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.

Proficiency in using issue tracking systems and version control tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and excellence.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
