Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications by designing, implementing, and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to address issues. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality software to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
• Ensure that software meets both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, security, and usability.
• Participate in design reviews, requirement discussions, and project planning to contribute to the quality of software from the start.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Execute regression tests, performance tests, and load tests to ensure software stability.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are working efficiently with automated testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), testing methodologies, and Agile principles.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java) for test automation.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar for test management and bug tracking.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic to effectively communicate with stakeholders, and the ability to use professional English to interact with non-Arabic-speaking team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
• Knowledge of cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
