Aiming at Defining the Digital Utility, Iberdrola Innovation Middle East (ME) works at the intersection of energy and digital technologies, focusing on three key innovation and product development areas: smart grids, renewable energy integration and smart solutions for our customers.

The position The Company is currently under a strong growth program and looking to enhance and enlarge its team of Full Stack Developers. We are on the lookout for highly proficient developers well-versed with the latest backend, frontend and server-side tools out there. The individuals will be responsible for the entire product life-cycle from conception to deployment of enterprise cloud software for different energy applications, interfacing with other developers and stakeholders to ensure products meet functional and performance requirements.

Qualifications and experience Responsibilities: Designing, planning, and executing cloud architecture strategies Implementing cloud solutions across various platforms such as Azure and AWS Migrating on-premise applications to cloud platforms Conducting risk assessments for cloud-based applications Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines Creating and managing cloud resources through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Ensuring cloud solutions are compliant with security protocols Align cloud architecture with business requirements Leading technical teams: building strong, motivated, focused teams

Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. MSc would be a plus Strong expertise in cloud computing and cloud services (Azure, AWS) Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture Strong knowledge in networking, security, and cloud-based delivery models Proficient in using DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker

Preferred Additional Skills: Relevant certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms Familiarity with serverless architectures Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark Exposure to Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) technologies

Years of experience Both junior (3-5 years of relevant work experience) and senior (more than 5 years' experience) will be considered in the selection process

Preference will be given to local candidates with a valid and transferable residency permit; provisions may be made for others if deemed necessary. This is a permanent full-time role based in the Qatar Science & Technology Park.
