Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented

Software Developer / Applications Engineer

to join our FinTech team in Abu Dhabi for a

12-month onsite contract

. The role involves developing high-performance financial applications, ensuring security and scalability, and integrating with banking and payment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain

secure and scalable financial applications. Implement

payment gateways, blockchain solutions, and financial APIs

. Ensure compliance with

financial regulations (PCI DSS, GDPR, Open Banking, etc.)

. Optimize

real-time transaction processing

and risk management systems. Work with

cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps pipelines (CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker)

. Develop and maintain

API integrations with banks, payment processors, and third-party services

. Conduct

code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in

Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

.

3+ years

of experience in

FinTech application development

. Proficiency in

Python, Java, Kotlin, C#, or JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular, Vue.js)

. Experience with

financial databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)

. Knowledge of

blockchain, smart contracts, or decentralized finance (DeFi)

is a plus. Strong understanding of

banking APIs, Open Banking protocols, and payment systems

. Experience with

microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture

. Familiarity with

security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption methods, API security)

. Experience with

AI/ML in fraud detection and predictive analytics

is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

FinTech startups, banking tech, payment solutions, or digital wallets

. Knowledge of

financial compliance, KYC/AML, and risk assessment tools

.
