POSITION TITLE : SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING EXECUTIVEDEPARTMENT : InteriorsREPORTING RELATIONSHIPSPOSITION REPORTS TO : Head of MarketingPOSITIONS SUPERVISED : 0POSITION PURPOSEManages all social media channels, campaigns, and team members to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction. Works with various departments to promote overall brand through social media channels.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESCreate awareness of and develop the brand you\'re marketingCommunicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationshipsHelp with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaignsSupport the marketing manager in delivering agreed activities.Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press or on the radioWork closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts.Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns.Produce creative content, including videos and blog postsRun social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagementOrganize and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitionsSource and secure sponsorshipLiaise with designers and printers and organize photo shootsArrange the effective distribution of marketing materialsMaintain and update customer databases.Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups.Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICScommunication and interpersonal skillscustomer-facing skillscommercial awareness and business acumenthe ability to think strategicallycopywriting and design skills in order to produce marketing materials for both print and onlinecreativityan eye for detailanalytical skills to evaluate marketing campaignsdrive and self-motivationa flexible approach to workthe ability to work well under pressureteamwork and the ability to foster good working relationshipsinfluencing and negotiation skillsskills in IT and social medianumeracy skillsForeign language ability - may be helpful if working for multinational companies.PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTSIncreasing competitive intelligence and anticipating competitor reactions to new marketing strategiesMore accurately assessing company marketing assets such as brand equity and its level of effectiveness among target audiencesBuilding a knowledge base of current and historic data that help drive marketing mix decisions and steer the company through rapidly changing market conditionsMonitoring marketings progress towards its annual goalsDetermining what areas of the marketing mix product, price, place, and promotion need modification or improvement to increase some aspect of performance.Assessing whether company goods, services, and ideas meet customer and stakeholder needs.QUALIFICATIONS\\REQUIREMENTS:Degree in Marketing or Social MediaWeb Proficiency, Computer Software Proficiency,Team Management Experience,Advertising, Copywriting, Content Creation,Public Relations and Brand Marketing Experience,Proofreading and Editing Skills,Interpersonal SkillsStrong Verbal and Written Communication Skills,Customer Service SkillsEfficiency & top-notch organization.
