Objectives of this role
• Assist in developing and implementing the company's marketing strategies
• Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
• Ensure that day to day communications are dispatched smoothly
• Coordinate with product heads on content topics
Duties & Responsibilities
• Community Management - checking all social pages and responding to all queries, comments, reviews, inbound messages and update on a centralized location
• Publishing on all social platforms
• Content calendars - writing/editing content for all social calendars
• Email Marketing - maintaining email calendar topics, understanding email strategy for specific product problems, maintaining & uploading clean lists, liaising with tech team for data pulls from various source points
• Design Coordination - giving detailed briefings to the design team, following & incorporating trends,
• Ad calendar - suggest/decide placements, write ad copy, coordinate designs, load onto ad dashboard
• Blogs - uploading to website
• Understanding KPI's and enforcing them specifically for online media
• Craft clear product marketing copy
• Collaborating with designers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative campaigns
• Writing content for emailers, media notes/interviews etc.
• Proof reading articles - SEO, Blogs, Press Releases, any other written content
• Coordinating with PR agency, monitoring deliverables, sharing PR ideas for press releases & media interviews
• Monitoring all social media content
• Random Quality Check - leads
• Keeping up with technologies used in social media
• Using social media marketing tools
• Tracking customer engagement to optimize campaign content
• Establishing relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media
• Design and implement successful marketing campaigns
• Identify and analyze competitors
• Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional materials (online & offline)
• Organize promotional activities for new/existing products/services
Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Officer or similar role [the ideal candidate will have a love for all things marketing]
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
• Expertise with SEO/SEM campaigns
• Detail oriented
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, web analytics and ad dashboards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with online design tools like Canva or Adobe Express
• Education in marketing, advertising, or communications
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
• Working knowledge of design and email software
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
