Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager with a strong background in retail to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to enhance brand presence, drive customer engagement, and increase sales. This role will leverage your expertise in both digital marketing and retail trends to create compelling content and campaigns that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

:

Social Media Strategy & Content Development

: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to the retail industry, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversion. Develop content calendars for all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) that align with the brand's marketing goals and seasonal retail campaigns. Produce high-quality, engaging content including product promotions, lifestyle posts, behind-the-scenes content, and more.

Community Engagement & Customer Interaction

: Act as the voice of the brand, engaging with customers through comments, messages, and social media interactions. Build and nurture a loyal online community, fostering relationships that encourage brand loyalty. Monitor customer feedback and product reviews on social platforms, and ensure timely responses to any queries or concerns.

Campaign & Promotion Management

: Coordinate with retail marketing teams to develop social media campaigns that align with in-store and online sales promotions. Create exclusive offers, discounts, and contests for social media followers to drive traffic to both online and physical stores. Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other relevant partnerships to extend brand reach.

Retail Insights & Trend Analysis

: Stay informed on current retail trends, product releases, and consumer behavior to adapt social media strategies and content accordingly. Analyze competitors' social media activity and identify opportunities for growth or differentiation.

Analytics & Reporting

: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using platforms like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc., and adjust strategies based on performance metrics. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like engagement, reach, conversion rates, and sales resulting from social media efforts. Use insights from data to refine campaigns and continually improve engagement and ROI.

E-Commerce & Online Retail Integration

: Partner with the e-commerce team to ensure social media content drives traffic to the online store and is integrated with promotions and product launches. Use social media tools and platforms (e.g., Instagram Shopping, Facebook Shops) to facilitate direct product purchases via social channels.

Collaborate with Retail Teams

: Work closely with the retail marketing, merchandising, and creative teams to align social media campaigns with retail objectives and seasonal strategies. Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels and with physical retail marketing efforts.

Qualifications

:

Experience

: 3+ years of experience in social media management, with at least 2 years in the retail industry. Proven experience in managing social media campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.

Skills

: Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.). Excellent copywriting and content creation skills. Familiarity with retail trends, consumer behavior, and online shopping habits. Experience with paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) and analytics tools. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
