: Social Media Coordinator
Position Overview:
The Social Media Coordinator plays a crucial role in implementing and managing the social media strategy for the organization. This position is responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, analyzing performance metrics, and fostering community engagement. The Social Media Coordinator works closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment with brand objectives and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Develop creative and compelling content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Write engaging copy, create eye-catching visuals, and produce multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and gifs.
Platform Management:
Maintain active and consistent presence across all social media channels.
Schedule and publish content according to the content calendar.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
Stay up-to-date with platform updates, trends, and best practices to optimize performance.
Community Engagement:
Foster meaningful interactions with followers, fans, and influencers.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with online communities and user-generated content.
Encourage user-generated content and user participation through contests, polls, and Q&A sessions.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze key social media metrics, including reach, engagement, conversion, and sentiment.
Generate regular reports to evaluate the performance of social media campaigns and initiatives.
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies for optimal results.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts with other departments, such as customer service, product development, and sales.
Work closely with graphic designers, videographers, and content creators to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
