:As a senior mechanical engineer for an electromechanical company, your role is pivotal in the design, development, and implementation of electromechanical systems and products. Your key responsibilities:Position Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer :1. Design and Development:
Lead the design and development of electromechanical systems and components, from concept to production.
Utilize CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed mechanical designs, ensuring compatibility with electrical and software components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate mechanical and electrical systems seamlessly.
2. Prototyping and Testing:
Oversee the prototyping process, coordinating with internal teams or external vendors to manufacture prototypes for testing and evaluation.
Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of prototypes to validate mechanical designs, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
Iterate on designs based on test results and feedback, driving continuous improvement and optimization.
3. Manufacturing Support:
Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure smooth transition from prototype to production, providing guidance on manufacturing processes, materials selection, and quality control.
Resolve any mechanical issues that arise during production, implementing design modifications or process improvements as necessary to maintain product quality and efficiency.
4. Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that mechanical designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO, ASTM, and FDA regulations.
Collaborate with regulatory affairs team to prepare documentation and submissions for regulatory approvals as needed.
5. Technical Leadership:
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electromechanical design, sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues.
6. Project Management:
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget constraints.
Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders, proactively addressing any challenges that may arise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master\'s degree preferred.
8-10 years of experience in electromechanical product design and development, with a focus on mechanical engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with simulation tools (such as ANSYS, COMSOL).
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and project management experience.
