Job Summary:
The Skills Development Center Attendant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the center by assisting in planning and implementing training programs designed for children. The Attendant will help facilitate various skill-building activities, including arts and crafts, cooking, vocational training, and language development, ensuring an enjoyable and productive environment for all participants. The role also includes providing logistical and administrative support to trainers, maintaining the training areas, and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and organized environment for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the setup and execution of training programs, workshops, and hands-on activities tailored for kids.
• Provide direct support and guidance to children participating in vocational training, arts and crafts, cooking, and language learning.
• Monitor and track children's participation and skill development, offering positive feedback and encouragement.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of training spaces, equipment, and materials for daily activities.
• Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and feedback for each program.
• Work closely with trainers and other staff to coordinate activities and ensure smooth program delivery.
• Address any participant or parent inquiries, issues, or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and fun atmosphere that encourages learning and personal growth for all children.
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in child skill development and training.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in education, social work, or related fields is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a skills development center, educational setting, or child-focused environment is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage with and support children of different backgrounds and skill levels.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• A positive, patient, and encouraging attitude when working with children.
Working Conditions:
• The position is based in a skills development center, requiring physical activities such as standing for extended periods and assisting in hands-on training.
• Flexibility to work during evenings or weekends, especially during workshops or special events, may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
