Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team. The role involves performing various physical tasks on construction sites and assisting with general labour duties.
Duties:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards
- Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth to prepare for construction
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters and bricklayers
- Follow health and safety guidelines on site at all times
Qualifications:
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
- Health and safety awareness on construction sites
