To manage and co-ordinate the work of a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring the smooth running of the service, the standard of work meets the requirements of the site at all times and that statutory obligations are met in full.\xc2\xa7 Manage the work of a team of full time cleaning operatives whilst maintain and enhance aesthetics and minimize disruption.\xc2\xa7 Review scope of work, schedules to ensure that they accurately reflect the jobs cost & schedule.\xc2\xa7 Organise the workload of the team in coordination with the ACM, ensuring an even distribution of work.\xc2\xa7 Identify and anticipates client/customer requirements, expectations and needs by conducting personal meetings and regular site visits.\xc2\xa7 Coordinate with internal & external resources including department, vendors, if any, as required to meet the assigned job\xe2\x80\x99s operational needs.\xc2\xa7 Ensure that the team of cleaning operatives perform to the standard required by the Client.\xc2\xa7 Ensure that the site\xe2\x80\x99s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times.\xc2\xa7 Liaise with the Contract Manager/ Administrator on a regular basis, dealing effectively with any problems or complaints that may arise.\xc2\xa7 Preparation of reports, maintain records and carry out standard cleaning procedures for the managed buildings and grounds in accordance with the ISO standards and BICs Standards.QualificationsEducation:\xc2\xa7 Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard) is a must. Higher Secondary School Certificate is desirable\xc2\xa7 Competent in written and spoken English, any other language will be an added advantage\xc2\xa7 A basic level of computer literacy in the more common applications.Skills, competencies and experience:\xc2\xa7 5 years relevant work experience with minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.\xc2\xa7 Good leadership abilities concerning team initiatives\xc2\xa7 Excellent interpersonal skills.\xc2\xa7 Excellent people management skills\xc2\xa7 Must have a good understanding of and experience with business operations in the Facilities management and/or cleaning industry.\xc2\xa7 Good communication skills, team management skill and the ability to work independently are all essential to this role.\xc2\xa7 The following skill set will need to be demonstrated: Planned periodic maintenance, staff management, asset life cycles, maintenance scheduling, and a full knowledge of all health and safety regulations including safe use of hazardous chemicals.\xc2\xa7 Middle East experience will be preferred but is not essential.
