Job Description

Candidate must have minimum 7-10 years of experience in O&G Projects. Following job description will be assigned to the candidate:

Participates in daily meetings, project status meetings and is responsible for correct reporting of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement & close-out.

Responsible for issue of all piping deliverable documents. Organize inputs and supervise for preparation general layout, equipment layout, key plans, support design, isometrics, material take offs, stress analysis, site material specifications and material requisitions.

Should be able to manage projects as Site supervisor and be responsible for the proper and timely execution of projects ensuring the Department quality management system and any project specific contractual requirements are met.

Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines, project management and Client teams.

Able to produce proposals for projects which involve man hour- and schedule estimates related to the Piping scope of work.

Review material receiving reports and warehousing to assure delivery of correct mechanical materials.

Participate in the preparation of cost estimates for mechanical construction activities and coordinate the preparation of cost reports, forecast and progress reports.

Coordinate subcontract activities to ensure mechanical and piping materials, equipment and quality comply with design plans and specifications.

Implement controls over variables affecting mechanical job progress such as equipment installation, maintenance, and testing. Also ensure engineering and procurement provide timely delivery of drawings, materials and equipment and that other corporate programs are fully utilized.

Undertake developmental activities like preparation of work instructions / procedures / guidelines. Responsible for quantity take-off, control, tracking, reporting and forecasting for mechanical discipline.

Specify the mechanical criteria for mechanical construction of temporary construction facilities as required.

Perform other duties as required by management.
