Quantity SurveyorWe require a Quantity Surveyor with the following qualifications:Duties & Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Ensure prompt and regular submission of main contract Interim payment application alongwith supporting documents and negotiate with consultant to receive timely certification.\xc2\xb7 Preparation of Statement at completion and Final Account along with supporting documents\xc2\xb7 Advice and discuss with project manager and contracts manager on cost implication of variations.\xc2\xb7 Prepare estimate for extra works, preparation of variations, negotiating and follow-up variations with consultant.\xc2\xb7 Unit rate analysis and new rate build-up\xc2\xb7 Maintaining a variation log that tracks the current status of all variations, substantiation,negotiation and agreement of variations with the client/ consultant.\xc2\xb7 Attend monthly site meetings and internal site meetings.\xc2\xb7 Prepare quantity take off from IFC drawings & BOQ preparation for sub-contract agreements.\xc2\xb7 Compiling enquiries for Sub-contractors\xe2\x80\x99 and Suppliers to request for quotations (RFQ)\xc2\xb7 Analyze the changes of drawing for sub-contract payment based on actual progress.\xc2\xb7 Field visits to evaluate and certify the quantity of work done before any certification of sub-contractor/supplierpayment and conduct re-measurement/site measurement if required.\xc2\xb7 Review, evaluation and certification of sub-contractor payment application.\xc2\xb7 Good command in English as a working language. High level of Computer Literacy.\xc2\xb7 Male candidates preferred.Applicants should meet the following criteria\xc2\xb7 A degree in Civil Engineering or similar\xc2\xb7 A minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of working with contractors in a QS role\xc2\xb7 Experience in the UAE is essential.\xc2\xb7 Preference will be given to those candidates currently living in the UAE.\xc2\xb7 Applicants who can join immediately will be preferred
