Job Description

Provide first aid and emergency care to employees who are injured or become ill at work.

Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses, and refer more serious cases to appropriate medical facilities.

Administer medications and vaccinations as needed.

Develop and implement health promotion programs to encourage healthy lifestyles among employees.

Conduct health screenings and assessments to monitor the overall health status of employees.

Provide health education on topics such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, and disease prevention.

Monitor workplace conditions to ensure they comply with health and safety regulations.

Participate in the investigation of workplace accidents and incidents, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.

Collaborate with other departments (such as HR and safety) to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for employees.

Prepare reports on health services provided, workplace injuries, and health trends.

Develop and maintain emergency response plans for medical emergencies that may occur at the worksite.

Conduct drills and training sessions to ensure employees are prepared to respond effectively in emergencies.

Coordinate with external healthcare providers, such as hospitals, clinics, and specialists, for employee referrals and follow-up care.

Work closely with HR and management to facilitate return-to-work programs for employees recovering from illness or injury.

Stay current with industry standards, laws, and regulations related to occupational health and safety.

Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to employee health and safety.

Communicate effectively with employees regarding health-related matters and available resources.

Provide counseling and support to employees dealing with health issues or personal challenges affecting work performance.
