Job Description

The Site Manager oversees production scheduling, quality control, and fabrication team supervision to ensure the efficient fabrication and timely delivery of high quality rebar products. The Site manager will manage resources, enforce safety protocols, and maintain standards of compliance, coordinating closely with our design and cut and bend departments. Continuous improvement of processes and adherence to safety and quality are central to this role.

Description

Production Scheduling

: Develop and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to align with client delivery timelines. Coordinate closely with the cut and bent department to ensure a steady supply of prepared rebar.

Resource Allocation

: Plan manpower, equipment, and material allocation to maximize productivity while minimizing downtime. Ensure materials are available and accurately allocated for each project

Coordination with Other Departments

: Communicate with stock control, and transport teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely dispatch of finished products

Team Supervision

: Lead and supervise welding and steel fixing teams ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Provide hands-on guidance and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Inspection and Testing

: Implement and oversee regular inspection and testing protocols for fabricated rebar products. Ensure that welding, tying, and other processes meet specified standards and client requirements

Quality Standards Compliance

: Enforce compliance with CARES quality standards, specifications, and internal quality benchmarks to ensure that all products meet structural and safety requirements.

Defect Management

: Identify, document, and address any quality defects promptly. Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to avoid recurrence

Safety Protocols

: Enforce safety protocols in line with company and industry regulations. Conduct routine safety briefings, hazard assessments, and safety audits on the shop floor

Material Optimisation

: Minimize waste by optimising material usage and managing rebar offcuts efficiently.

Quality Control

: Ensure all products are inspected, labelled, and prepared for dispatch according to client specifications and delivery schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:

? Diploma / Bachelor's Engineering or a related field Minimum Experience:

? Rebar fabrication supervision

Preferred Experience:

? Rebar Manufacturing Environment: Prior experience working in a rebar manufacturing facility is highly desirable. Familiarity with the processes, equipment, and specific challenges of producing rebar will facilitate a smooth transition into the role.

Pay: AED12,600.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
