Position: Site Engineer
Location: United Arab Emirates

Reports To: Project Manager
Type: Full-time

Position Overview:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil /architecture engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to ensure efficient project execution.
• Assist in planning construction methods and procedures.
• Interpret and execute architectural and engineering plans.
• Develop detailed project schedules and monitor progress against targets.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the specified standards and requirements.
• Resolve any on-site issues or discrepancies.
• Provide technical advice and solutions to construction challenges.
• Ensure the accurate setting out and leveling of the site.
• Maintain detailed records of construction progress, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to the Project Manager.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Address any client concerns promptly and professionally.

Job Requirements:

• Civil or Architecture Engineer.
• 4-7 years' experience.
• Experience in supervision of construction work and processes from the inception till handing over.
• Good knowledge of BOQ, specifications, project schedules, and contracts.
• Good communication skills.
• Follow up on the daily activities at sites and prepare reports.
• Knowledge of tender processes.
• Consultant office background is preferred.
• English and Arabic languages talking and writing is a must.
• Has a UAE driving license.
