Project Management:
Plan, manage, and oversee all MEP activities on the construction site.
Ensure alignment with project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
2. Team Leadership:
Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians for MEP works.
Conduct regular meetings, toolbox talks, and progress reviews.
Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
3. Coordination and Liaison:
Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, and other teams.
Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth communication.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery of services and materials.
4. Quality Control and Assurance:
Monitor MEP installation and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project standards.
Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Conduct inspections and approve work at various stages of the project.
5. Safety and Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and company policies.
Identify risks and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct safety audits and risk assessments for MEP operations.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of daily site activities and progress reports.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on work status, issues, and milestones.
Ensure proper documentation for testing, commissioning, and handover.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
Additional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or MEP systems are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP works within oil and gas construction.
Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.
