Responsibilities:

Acts as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractor, craft people and operative.
Checks plan, drawing and quantities for accuracy of calculation.
Ensures that all materials used, and work performed are as per specification.
Oversees the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
Liaises with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
Liaises with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
Communicates with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors) for site coordination and quality purposes
Manages the site daily, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
Plans the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Oversees quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Prepares reports as required.
Raises and coordinates with all concerned to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Performs other duties assigned by immediate superior as & when required.
