Site Engineer (joinery)
Job Description
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Lead site engineering activities from initial planning stages through contract completion.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities at the construction site, including scheduling and supervision of subcontractors, and oversight of material deliveries.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
• Monitor site operations and determine the work progress.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to teams and clients.
• Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of all site-related documentation including spreadsheets, drawings, and photographs.
• Assist in completing inspection.
• Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
Requirements And Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in multiple levels of project management in commercial construction.
• Knowledge of design, specifications, and building codes
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor, train, and lead team members.
