Geoharbour Middle East Construction LLC is an established ground engineering company with strong presence in the GCC and MENA regions. As part of our business expansion strategy, we are looking for strong and able candidates to fill up the following positions to be based in our regional offices:

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Piling and Shoring. The successful candidate will support the project management team in various aspects of soil improvement and piling activities at the site, ensuring high-quality execution and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and coordinate with project teams for project acceptance.
• Assist in planning, prepare method statements and quality plans, and supervise field personnel as instructed by the Site Manager or Projects Manager.
• Develop site construction plans and oversee site construction management in line with construction designs.
• Draft and effectively prepare comprehensive method statements.
• Manage construction sites for activities including Dynamic Compaction (DC), Dynamic Replacement (DR), Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC), Vibro Compaction (VC), and other Piling and Shoring methods.
• Arrange and mobilize plant, equipment, and manpower to meet project targets.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress reports.
• Actively contribute to and ensure the implementation of published Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures in the workplace.
• HSEQ and regulatory compliance:
• Ensure that organization policies and procedures are understood, implemented, and adhered to by all employees;
• Ensure compliance with Group HSEQ policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in piling and shoring techniques, as well as site engineering.
• Extensive experience in ground improvement is an advantage.
• Up-to-date knowledge of geotechnical engineering design, logging, laboratory, and in-situ testing standards (preferred).
• Computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn computational geotechnics software and excel in-house computational spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software is a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of soil improvement methods, piling techniques, and associated equipment.
• Experience in preparing method statements, quality plans, and construction management plans.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
