Job Summary:
The Fit-Out Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the site execution of interior fit-out projects, ensuring that all activities are carried out in compliance with project specifications, design drawings, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, while ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

Preparing, Coordinating and Monitoring the assigned engineering projects.

Read all kind of drawings ( Civil , MEP , AC, Duct etc.. ) and ability to edit and advise and improve on the design

Strong Experience on creating fit-out design and make all drawings that are related to the fitout projects.

Managing projects within the established scope, schedule and budget while meeting or surpassing standards of quality.

Manage technicians to help deliver the project on time and within budget.

Responsible for entire project management plan including scope, procurement, production, design, communication, cost, time, risk, project human resources, close out etc.

Ensure health and safety measures are strictly followed at site.

Represent company in all project meetings.

Verifying the technical aspect of quotes received from vendors.

Coordination between client, site, sub-contractors & suppliers.

Checking of BOQ from sub-contractors based on the work done at site

Track project milestones and deliverables, check & deliver progress reports, complete requirements of documentation at defined frequency, analyse reports/ results and troubleshoot problem areas, after obtaining approval, if need be.

Maintain accurate record keeping of delays and changes that have occurred and assist the PQS to prepare claims for variations and time extension.

Close out and hand over project.

Supervise the project planning, site contractors, and ensure work is completed as per authority standards.

Supervise the fit-out works including all interior fixings and equipment.

Cooperate and communicate effectively with manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Check the MEP & ARCH drawings before the final submissions to landlord / building management.

Perform the heat load calculations after the submission of contractor HVAC drawings

Prepare all the pending works list for the fit out works for the various projects

Review the drawings presented by the contractor and give necessary comments if needed.

Follow up with contractors and monitor the progress to finish the works as per the timeline.

Preparation of the BOQ and costing of the fit-out projects

Check the MEP and 2D Drawings are completely per the client approved 3D rendered design.

Check with suppliers / contractors and request for quotations and competitive prices.

Each layout and drawings request client for the approvals and give necessary information.

Supervising the workers and their daily attendance including with the daily work report while in site.

Tracing out the issue help the team to tackle easier while working in site.

Troubleshooting the issues with site engineers and various concerns while executing the fit out works
