Job Summary:

The Site Engineer for Fit-Out is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site activities related to interior fit-out projects. This includes ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

- Oversee and manage the daily operations on the construction site.

- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.

- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.

2. Technical Supervision:

- Review and interpret project drawings and specifications.

- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.

- Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes and regulations.

3. Quality Control:

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work meets the required standards and specifications.

- Identify and resolve any quality issues that arise during the construction process.

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections and quality control checks.

4. Health and Safety:

- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on the construction site.

- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.

- Ensure that all team members and contractors adhere to safety regulations.

5. Coordination and Communication:

- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

- Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders involved in the project.

- Address any issues or concerns raised by clients or other stakeholders.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and change orders.

- Prepare and submit regular project status reports to the Project Manager.

- Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

- Proven experience in site engineering, particularly in fit-out projects.

- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Proficient in using construction management software and tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional certification in construction management or a related field.

- Experience with green building practices and sustainable construction.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Working Conditions:

- Primarily based on the construction site with occasional office work.

- Exposure to various weather conditions and construction site hazards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
