The Fire Alarm Engineer (Site Engineer) is responsible for the effective installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire alarm systems at various sites. This role involves working closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that fire alarm systems are installed correctly, function properly, and meet all relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate installation.
• Perform system testing and calibration to verify system functionality.
• Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty systems, including identifying and resolving issues with alarms, sensors, and control panels.
• Carry out periodic inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure they are operational and in compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on system performance, including recommendations for improvements or necessary repairs.
• Ensure that all fire alarm systems comply with local, state, and national codes and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Liaise with clients to discuss their fire safety needs and provide technical advice on fire alarm systems.
• Provide training to clients on the use and maintenance of fire alarm systems as required.
• Assist in project planning and coordination, including scheduling and resource management.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during the installation or maintenance phases.

Qualifications:

• Education: Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification: Fire Alarm Systems Technician Certification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of [4] years of experience in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and inspection.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and relevant codes and standards.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for system troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
