Modern Space is a leading company specializing in residential renovations, commercial space transformations, and comprehensive fit-out solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with experience in Dubai and strong knowledge of local regulations and permits to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to lead and manage a range of construction projects, from design through execution. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful completion of our residential and commercial projects, with a strong understanding of Dubai's regulations, DDA approvals, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and relevant renovation and fit-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and supervise the construction of buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Perform site assessments and feasibility studies to guide project decisions.
• Prepare and present technical reports, plans, and project documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai-specific environmental regulations, DDA approvals, and permit requirements.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Deliver progress updates and ensure timely project execution.
• Management and planning of onsite staff and effective assigning of duties as per project timelines

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be registered with Dubai Municipality under Society of Engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is a plus).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil engineering, with Dubai-specific experience .
• Strong knowledge of Dubai regulations on permits and DDA approvals, and BOQ preparation.
• Experience in renovation and fit-out projects.
• Valid SOE (Society of Engineers) membership required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other civil engineering software.
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Primavera and MS Project.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month

Language:

• Fluent English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Society of Engineers certification under Dubai Municipality (Required)
