:
The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. This role requires a proactive individual skilled in problem-solving, quality control, and progress reporting, with the ability to coordinate between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction Supervision: Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to designs, specifications, and quality standards.
- Client-Contractor Liaison: Serve as the primary contact between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, resolving any issues that arise.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality, ensuring compliance with local regulations and codes.
- Quality Control: Verify that materials and workmanship meet project requirements through tests, reviews, and inspections.
- Documentation Review: Examine shop and construction drawings to confirm alignment with project requirements.
- Problem Solving: Address on-site issues or discrepancies, providing technical guidance and adjustments as needed.
- Progress Reporting: Keep clients informed on project status through regular reports detailing progress, delays, or changes.
- Coordination with Disciplines: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and others to maintain project alignment.
Documentation and Communication:
- Prepare and issue Daily Site Reports and Progress Reports to track daily activities, materials used, and any deviations.
- Issue Site Instructions (SI) to contractors for design clarifications or quality adjustments.
- Respond to Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Request for Information (RFI) inquiries as necessary.
- Review and approve Material Samples and Shop Drawings for compliance before installation.
- Document Minutes of Meetings and coordinate Variation Orders as required.
- Conduct Health and Safety Audits and manage Inspection Requests and Punch Lists near project completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, safety regulations, and local codes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with geotechnical, concrete, and steel testing methods.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and health regulations.
- Experience with document control and progress reporting tools.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
