Role Overview:The Site Engineer (Solar) will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of solar power projects, ensuring that all installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires a strong background in both solar energy systems and telecommunications, with a focus on integrating solar solutions into telecom infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
Lead site assessments, feasibility studies, and detailed planning for solar power installations on telecom sites.
Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Conduct inspections and audits to guarantee the quality and performance of solar installations.
Provide technical expertise and support to the project team, addressing any issues that arise during the installation and maintenance phases.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and telecom engineers to ensure seamless integration of solar systems with existing telecom infrastructure.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, site conditions, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect team members and site integrity.
Required Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of solar energy systems and their integration with telecom infrastructure.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for solar installations.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar energy projects, with at least 2 years in a telecom environment.
Proven track record of managing solar installation projects from inception to completion.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in solar energy and project management are a plus.
