Job Description

• Developing detailed designs as per clients requirements.
• Doing feasibility assessments and site inspections.
• Preparing and implementing project plans.
• Researching and providing Bill of Quantities and estimates for projects.
• Reviewing government regulations and ordinances.
• Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.
• Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.
• Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.).
• Overseeing the coordination of construction works and ensuring that they are in accordance with priorities and plans.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Inspecting construction sites frequently and ensuring that manpower and resources are adequate Supervising the use of machinery and equipment.
• Ensuring that safe work practices are followed at construction site.

• Reporting the progress of construction projects to managers, supervisors, engineers, and other relevant personnel
• Analyse long range plans, survey reports, maps, and other data to plan and design project.
• Avoids wastage of material, consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors during the planning and risk-analysis stages of a project.
• Direct engineering activities, assign tasks, provide training and support.
• Guaranteeing and implementing safety precautions while also ensuring that quality standards are met.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities.
