Job Description

We are seeking a

Supervision Site Engineer

to represent our consultancy firm on construction sites, ensuring that contractors comply with approved designs, specifications, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site inspections, quality control, and coordination with project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Supervision:

Oversee contractors' work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Quality Assurance & Control:

Conduct regular inspections, review materials used, and ensure workmanship meets industry standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and contract conditions.

Progress Monitoring:

Track construction progress, prepare reports, and highlight delays or issues to the project team.

Technical Coordination:

Act as a liaison between the contractor and the consultant office, providing clarifications on designs and specifications.

Site Inspections & Reporting:

Conduct routine site visits, document findings, and report non-conformance to senior management.

Problem Identification & Resolution:

Identify construction issues, propose corrective actions, and assist in resolving technical challenges.

Testing & Commissioning:

Verify the performance of completed work, review test results, and ensure compliance with project standards.

Meetings & Documentation:

Attend site meetings, prepare progress reports, and maintain proper documentation for project records.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in a consulting firm. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project specifications. Familiarity with engineering codes and standards. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects. Valid driver's license.
