: Site Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Position Overview: As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and construction activities on our tower projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that construction progresses according to plans, specifications, and safety standards while coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project milestones efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
• Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality; identify and resolve issues or delays promptly.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with design drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and construction schedules.
• Assist in the interpretation of engineering drawings and technical specifications for construction activities.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to address technical queries and ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials received, and work performed.
• Implement health, safety, and environmental procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide technical advice and support to site staff and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry, preferably with exposure to tower construction projects.
• 5-10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and regulations.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using construction management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
