Job Title: Site Coordinator

Department: Construction/ Contracting

Job Summary:

The Site Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations on the construction site by coordinating resources, schedules, and activities. The role involves liaising with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure compliance with project plans, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

Oversee daily site activities to ensure compliance with project schedules and safety standards.

Coordinate the delivery and allocation of materials, equipment, and resources.

Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities to the Project Manager.

Coordination:

Act as the primary point of contact between the site team, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Ensure proper communication and alignment of objectives among all parties involved.

Assist in resolving site issues, including delays, conflicts, and unforeseen challenges.

Compliance and Safety:

Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all workers adhere to health and safety standards.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure work complies with design specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of daily activities, material usage, and site progress.

Prepare and submit regular reports, including work logs, safety reports, and project updates.

Ensure that all permits, licenses, and site documents are up to date and readily available.

Support to Project Team:

Assist in planning and scheduling project activities and timelines.

Provide support to the Site Manager in managing subcontractors and vendors.

Ensure any changes or deviations from the plan are communicated and documented appropriately.

Experience:

Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or contracting industry.

Understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.

Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
