• We prefer an Arabic speaking civil engineer.
• Must have at least 5 years of Dubai construction experience.
• •Please apply if you are • only a DM (Dubai Municipality) approved "contractor" civil engineer •(G+1 or higher floors). •
• Salary is up to 7000 DHS (depends) + petty cash for gasoline + SIM.
• You should have a UAE driving license + car.

Job Brief:

We are looking for a Civil engineer (an Arabic speaker ) and a Dubai Municipality approved contracting civil engineer , who must have a BSc in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in handling construction projects from A to Z.

The successful candidate's primary function will be to manage all aspects of the site, handling day-to-day operations and maintaining positive supervision of all the works, laborers, sub-contractors, payments, work progress, procurement, and all the other daily activities for the contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• To have a good experience in project execution/control from start to finish.
• To make sure of following the approved drawings and specifications.
• To plan, manage, control, utilize, and determine the needed manpower, materials, machinery, and other resources including subcontractors to achieve targets from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• To Control the procurements for the construction projects.
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and guide them when needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
• To maintain timesheets of the workforce with correct cost allocation.
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
• Hire sub-contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities when needed.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
• To perform all activities in compliance with QA/QC procedure.
• Strong Technical skills and good communication & Coordination skills
• To focus on the quality of the works at site and the labours, subcontractors, etc.

•Requirements: •

• DM "contracting" approved civil engineer.
• Proven experience as a construction Site CIVIL ENGINEER (preferably 5 years in the UAE).
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• In-depth understanding of construction and fit-out procedures + material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Familiarity with technical/construction/project management softwares (autoCAD, microsoft project/Premavera and etc.).
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated, and energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• Have good practical organizational, resource planning, and program scheduling skills.
• Strong connections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
