Job Summary:
As a SIRA-certified security guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients by monitoring premises, enforcing safety protocols, and responding promptly to emergencies. You will utilize your training to perform various security-related tasks, including access control, surveillance, and crowd management, while adhering to the standards set by the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA).
Key Responsibilities:
• Surveillance & Monitoring:
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
• Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to ensure continuous safety and security.
• Report and document any suspicious activities, incidents, or breaches in security.
• Access Control:
• Control access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
• Check identification and credentials of visitors, contractors, and employees.
• Manage the issuance of visitor passes and monitor entry/exit points.
• Emergency Response:
• Respond promptly to security alarms, incidents, and emergency situations (e.g., fire, medical emergencies, security breaches).
• Implement emergency protocols as needed, including evacuation procedures and coordination with emergency services.
• Incident Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
• Prepare and submit reports on security-related issues, including accidents, thefts, and other incidents.
• Investigate minor incidents or violations, and escalate more serious matters to management or law enforcement.
• Customer Service:
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with general inquiries.
• Remain calm, professional, and approachable, even in high-stress or emergency situations.
• Safety Protocols:
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with security procedures and regulations.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to identify potential hazards or vulnerabilities.
• Training & Compliance:
• Stay up-to-date with SIRA regulations and security best practices.
• Participate in regular training to maintain and enhance security skills and knowledge.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other security personnel and department staff to coordinate security efforts.
• Communicate effectively with management, clients, and law enforcement agencies when required.
Qualifications:
• SIRA Certification : A valid SIRA security guard certification issued by the UAE Security Industry Regulatory Agency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (additional security training or certifications may be a plus).
• Experience : Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Skills :
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations with calmness and professionalism.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of security equipment and protocols.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand or patrol for long periods.
• Ability to lift and carry security equipment as needed.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
Working Hours:
• Shifts can vary, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,750.00 per month
